About The Role
The primary goal of this position is to develop and implement regional Retail Category Development strategies that enhance the value of categories where Colgate:Palmolive (CP) is involved. This will be achieved by focusing on the needs of clients, consumers, and shoppers.
Main Responsibilities:
:Collaborates with clients to create and implement category strategies, defining short, medium, and long:term objectives for the categories and Retail Environments in which Colgate participates.
:Lead category growth through productivity analysis with clients across different Retail Environments/categories.
:Supervise and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented strategies (planograms and initiatives) to ensure they meet set objectives.
:Conduct periodic performance reviews of categories with various clients, providing recommendations based on the 5Ps.
:Align local strategies and tactics to develop planograms that match the agreed:upon growth strategies with clients.
:Prepare and share relevant category communications (Catmans News, Scorecards) to strengthen client relationships at all levels.
:Regularly review category performance at the retail environment level, in coordination with Retail Environment Managers and Marketing, to identify opportunities for CP in the categories.
:Develops and share compelling selling stories regarding growth opportunities for Colgate and the category in line with CATMAN commercial principles.
:Communicates progress on project implementation, planimetry, and category performance aligned with Catman commercial principles (ICPE Catman).
:Engages in collaborative work with the instore team to implement plans with excellence in store. Support JBP (Joint Business Planning) and Top:to:Top meetings with key clients by presenting proposals and project results. Allocate at least 10 of working time to visiting points of sale to verify implementations and identify improvement opportunities.
Basic Qualifications:
:Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related field.
:At least +2 years of experience in Category Management/Commercial areas
:Intermediate English Level (At least 85)
:Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Suite
:Proficiency inSpaceplanning or Spaceman and Tableau
:Competency in photo editing software.
:Strong skills in Sales, Client Relationships, and Marketing.
Preferable Qualifications:
:MBA is highly desirable.
